Harbor House Studios is a full-service audio/video recording facility, located in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex. We boast 2,000 square feet of space, and access to a 450 seat auditorium, professionally designed and tuned for your live recordings.

Harbor House Studios represents virtually all the talent and technical resources needed to create both entertaining and effective visual content. Whether it’s a weekly television program, business to business marketing for corporate and industrial, commercial advertising, web design or video for Internet, Harbor House can take you from strategy and concept to final product and distribution.

The video production area of Harbor House Studios features a Macintosh dual 2.5 G5 Final Cut Pro HD non-linear editing system teamed with the graphics, layering, and compositing tools needed for high-end finishing.

Construction
This “state of the art” facility was designed and constructed by the world-renowned Russ Berger Design Group, www.rbdg.com, incorporating such features as:

Slabs
Our facility is built upon 5 “floating” slabs to allow isolation between the office area, control room, the main studio and our two isolation booths. Each slab is separated by an isolation piece which prevents any transmission of vibrations, harmonics, or other noise from any part of the studio to another.

Walls
There are two interior walls separated by a 1 inch airspace, making up a 9" insulated wall. The inner wall is carefully constructed so there is never a place where it touches the adjacent wall. Anytime support pieces are used, they are shielded with a thick, sound rated rubber treatment to keep any transmission of noise from occurring. Each wall is insulated with very dense fiberglass insulation, then two layers of 5/8” gypsum board are placed together with an acoustical sealant applied in necessary areas. A 4” wall will then be constructed out from the gypsum board, filled with an acoustically rated core and followed by installation of beautiful acoustical wall fabric. These well designed 14" walls, will keep your sound in and other sound out.

HVAC
A climate controlled A/C was designed (and its construction managed) by the Russ Berger Design Group. These precautions, allow the correct environment to be available, while keeping the noise floor controlled for optimum recordings.
